This core value is demonstrated through our technology platform, the VasoNova Vascular Positioning System (VPS), which has the potential to improve patient care, increase nursing workflow efficiency and may reduce healthcare costs associated with peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) placement.
It is our vision to expand upon this platform so that our guidance technology can provide these same benefits within other areas of care. We are exploring the use of VPS to guide other catheters. Because VPS is a platform technology, it may also be used to guide other medical devices within the body. Furthermore, because our technology leverages internal physiological parameters to achieve precise positioning, it holds the potential to monitor and diagnose specific disease states as well.
